A far-right politician assumed to be from the "Republican Front" party, a party unrepresented in the Federal Parliament has been detained by Brient City Police after vandalising an office near his former location of a member of the 50th Federal Diet with a paint marker while intoxicated whilst shouting of his rejection of the recent free trade bill proposed this morning in public.

New Foreign Secretary Kiki Okiko has said that the future of Izaakian foreign policy should be to “Engage more actively and collaboratively with Pacifica nations” which was seen as a direct swipe at her predecessor Athena Popadomalus, she did however say that Izaakias opposition to recent WF developments has not changed.

The Ryccian military has announced it will suspend all naval and aerial bombardments against the Valoran capital, Mirochi, which is held by the constitutionalists. Instead, the military says it will attack the surrounding territory, seeking to isolate it from the world. The constitutionalists have denounced this as "the beginning of a brutal, inhumane and cruel siege strategy", as the Ryccian Navy is now blockading the capital by sea and by land, refusing to allow any supplies through. The capital is still connected to the world via a constitutionalist land corridor running through the coast.

The United States of Izaakia accuses the Ryccian government of grotesque human rights violations in Valora, describing the conditions in Mirochi as perhaps the worst experienced in Pacifica since the Great War, further exacerbated by deliberate the targeting of civilians and intention to starve the population with their blockade, calling the actions little short of Genocide.

The Eggrarian government has updated its figures for the Spirasian refugees and has stated that the recent luxury tax has been efficient in allocating resources to Spiras refugees. Many hotels have resumed business as government housing has been allocated and provided for refugees. 

The Referendum on the Amendment to Article III of the Eggrarian Constitution has a 78% turnout. For a Constitutional Amendment's vote to be counted, a 95% voter turnout must be achieved. The majority of non-voters are in the Province of Teokratika.

The multisectarian rally against political violence has occurred, with events all across the country. It is estimated that 20 million citizens participated, with 5 million in the capital alone. Most political leaders were present in the capital, resolutely condemning violence as a tool to achieve political aims.
