IC 2021 Rugby World Cup ?
#1

Draw for the Groups, this is a Live Broadcast By Bruce and Clive give you Ruggers Live

Bruce: Good day to all you rugby fans out there, I’m glad you can join us, I’m Bruce DeKlerk and my co-host today is Clive Sinclaire.
Clive: Good day, and I’m glad you could join us for the group draw of the rugby 2021 World Cup which will be hosted by the United States of Izaakia. Now, Bruce, we’ve got three home nations this year, Izaakia, Brodlancia and Montacia, each of which will host parts of the tournament.
Bruce: and of-course Clive that means we already know our first four nations in the draw, Izaakia will be in group A, Montacia in Group B, and Brodlancia in Group C.
Clive: and for all you eagled eyed viewers out there, yes that’s only three, but number 4 is in group D, as the highest ranked team in the tournament Kosbareland is the only nation in the first draw so we’re pretty confident that they will be in group D, and let’s go live there now to watch the first draw for group D.

Bruce: and there we go as expected group D for Kosbareland, so far so predictable. But now is where it gets interesting Clive, the next four best teams in the world are now drawn into the groups, and since the three home nations automatically qualified, there are going to be some strong contenders in this group of teams. Why don’t you run us through the teams Clive.
Clive: Thanks bruce, in this group of teams we have Anseria, and may I say Bruce this is not a team you’d want to confuse with their poultry friends the chickens, the Anserians are coming off the back of a very strong qualifying campaign, unbeaten in their last 9 games.
Bruce: Crickey I hope we don’t cross them.
Clive: Indeed Bruce, now the next team is Sedunn, the Tivusled, now they’re a little off form at the moment, but let’s not forget this is a very strong team, and they’ve always turned up when it comes to tournament rugby.
Bruce: Dismiss them at your peril.
Clive: the third team in this pool is Techganet, and you know Bruce, I think the Royals might be a bit of a dark horse in this tournament, they’ve got a lot of talented young players, and rumour has it their coach has been knocking them in to pretty good shape, they might well be the fittest team out there.
Bruce: and that of course could well come in handy later in the tournament, it’s a very gruelling schedule for these players.
Clive: Quite so Bruce, and to be honest, this is where I think our next team might fall down, the forest panthers from Hazelbrust, they’ve had a lot of injuries recently, and are very much entering this tournament on the back foot. I wouldn’t want to jinx it, but this is the team I’d be praying to face.
Bruce: Thanks for running us through that Clive, and now let’s go to the draw for the second pool.

Bruce: Well, there’s one for the books, Anseria to face Izaakia in the opening game of the tournament, I think that’s going to be one hell of a showdown Clive.
Clive: I couldn’t agree more bruce, these two teams are in the top five in the world, and the form they’re both on is astonishing, it’ll be interesting to see who can draw first blood. But of course the last time the Anserians lost was to Izaakia, so go Sharks!
Bruce: Go sharks indeed Clive, I think we can cancel the opening ceremony, this game will be more than entertaining enough.
Clive: We can only hope both teams don’t play the game too conservatively, let’s go back to the draw to see who will be in group B, facing The All Blacks.

Crikey, the Tivusled, or the forest lions to those of us not fluent in sedunnese, that’s going to be another formidable group, I would not want to be the third team in that group, especially with the form the all blacks have been on, they must be favourites for this tournament.
Bruce: Ranked number one in the world ofcourse, but let’s not forget Sedunn has a long history in rugby and they’ve once again fielded a strong team. Now back to the draw to see who will face the Brodlancian Musketeers.

Bruce: Well the royals of techganet, they’re a good team but I think the Brodlancians will be happy to face them as opposed to some of the other teams in this ranking.
Clive: Yes I think they’ll be happy with that, as will Kosbareland, they’ll now face the Hazelbrust forest panthers who haven’t been on great form recently.
Bruce: Yes, if I was one of the teams in the third draw, I’d be wanting to get groups A or B. Let’s run through those teams Clive.
Clive: Yes Bruce, I think we’ve got a bit of a dark horse in this group, the Sallodesians, the Kyboks are traditionally one of the best countries in the world at rugby, and they’ve been on great form recently, but due to the way the world rankings work the poor patch they had a couple of years ago has really dragged them down the rankings, but I’d keep an eye on these guys Bruce.
Bruce: Yes Clive, I think they’re definitely one to watch. Now, the next two nations are Stoinia, Frost Empire, and Mauquibie, three nations that have traditionally not been great rugby nations, but they’ve worked their way to qualify for the rugby World Cup and I hope they do well because it might set a trend in those countries. Lets head to the draw and see how this plays out.

Clive: Bruce, I think I’m going to have to go to hospital for delirium, because I cannot believe how this group of death has panned out. The Kyboks are in group A, I don’t see a team in that group who don’t deserve to make it all the way, it’s gonna be one hell of a group.
Bruce: cor blimey Clive, I think I’ll need some more beta blockers for my blood pressure, the Kyboks the Sharks and the Geese in one group, let’s hope Izaakia aren’t a fish out of water with this lot. Let’s head back to the studio.

Bruce: Stoinia are in group B, I think the All Blacks and Sedunn will be pretty happy with this one, the Red Rhinos are on good form though Clive.
Clive: Yes, Bruce, they might not have star players of The All Blacks or the Kosbarians but they have one hell of a team spirit. Unfortunately I don’t really see a way out of this group for them against the Montacians and Sedunn. Back to the draw.

Clive: Well there’s a wrap, group C will have Mauquibie, which I think is possibly the best group they could have been in to progress to the quarter finals.
Bruce: Quite right Clive, I look at both Brodlancia and Techganet and see two teams not performing at their best, there are definitely weaknesses to exploit. Let’s not forget group D though Clive, the Frost Empire has got a good shot there, I couldn’t call it between the frost empire and Hazelbrust for who will get that second spot after Kosbareland.
Clive: yes I think you’ve got a point there, that’s going to be an interesting battle when those two teams go head to head. Let’s run through the groups one final time Bruce.
Bruce: In group A, we have Izaakia, Anseria and Sallodesia, in group B we have Montacia, Sedunn and Stoinia, in group C we have Montacia, Techganet and Mauquibie and finally in group D we have Kosbareland, Hazelbrust and The Frost empire.
Clive: Thanks for that Bruce, and thanks to the audience for tuning in, I hope you can join for the opening ceremony on Saturday where Izaakia face Anseria at the New Mako Sharks stadium. I’ve been Clive Sinclaire.
Bruce: and I’ve been Bruce DeKlerk, thanks for watching, Good Night.
Gianni: “Izaakia, I hate you so much. You’re such a good bad guy. Must be because of your genes“.

Clive: Good day everyone, and welcome to highlights of today’s rugby World Cup action, I’m Clive Sinclaire.
Bruce: and as always, I’m Bruce DeKlerk. I think to start Clive we should go through the opening ceremony, I thought it was spectacular, an anthology of our nations history, from our descent from the mountains, to the colonisation by the Australs and Boreal empires, to our recent re-unification, I thought that rendition of the Road to Montacia Bay was quite moving.
Clive: Yea Bruce very moving, and of course the history of rugby is intertwined with with history of our nation, from the ancient ball games that pitted whole villages against each other, the the rules of modern rugby born on the playing fields of the private school of rugby in Izaakia.

Bruce: it was certainly a jolly good history lesson Clive, now shall we get to a highlight of the games Clive.

Anseria 48 v 47 Izaakia

Clive: Yes indeed, and the opening game at New Mako stadium between Anseria and Izaakia was a corker, we were worried that it would be a low scoring game of attrition and boy were we wrong. Both sides scoring in the high forties, with just a point to split the two teams.
Bruce: I’m still crying Clive, that last second drop kick was inches away from turning the game Izaakias way. But still with such a good game, and let’s not forget Izaakia scored 4 tries and lost by just one point, which means they got two group points, which could come in handy later on in the tournament.
Clive: Quite so Bruce, and one thing that I noticed in this game on both sides was that the attacking rugby was fantastic, but the defending rugby was horrific, far too many mistakes on both sides, teams of this level shouldn’t be conceding this many points no matter who you’re playing.
Bruce: I agree Clive, some questions of both teams defences have been asked, but with their levels of offensive rugby I think these two teams will go far. I’ve actually written a little Limerick about this game inline with the current trend in Izaakia.

There cannot be much that is scarier,
Than that frightful match vs Anseria,
They beat us by one,
And it wasn’t much fun,
And it made all our fans much swearier

Clive: Damn good poem Bruce, I’ve actually written my own for the all blacks game. So after one game in this group Anseria lead with 5 points, Izaakia in second with 2 points, and with a game in hand Sallodesia on 0 points, onto the next game.

Montacia 44 v 29 Sedunn

Clive: Ah yes, and this game was over before it started the all blacks never looked like they were going to fall behind and they did not disappoint. I think they’ll be a little concerned to have conceded 29 points, but they’re just getting into this tournament.
Bruce: the atmosphere in the Citadelle stadium was electric Clive, I wish I’d been there. Those all blacks I think are the biggest contenders in this World Cup, and rugby is coming home I would wager my own home on it.
Clive: Bold move Bruce, and I’ll take you up on that. So that leaves group be with Montacia in the lead with 5 points, and Sedunn with 0 points, also on 0 points with a game in hand Stoinia. Next game bruce.
Bruce: Not so fast Clive you owe us a Limerick.
Clive: Ah of course

There once was a player from Sedunn,
Who didn’t look like he was having fun,
For he fell flat on his arse,
And lay on the grass,
Until flowers grew out of his bum

Bruce: Great Limerick Clive what a corker, next game.

Brodlancia 31 v 28 Techganet

Clive: It’s another damn close one Bruce, and to be honest I think the Musketeers were lucky to beat the royals. Just three points in it and the game was definitely going the way of Techganet towards the end, if there had been 5 more minutes I think Brodlancia would have lost.
Bruce: I agree, there will be a lot of questions asked about the musketeers after that performance, it was scrappy, and they should be playing better than that at this level. But none the less they lead the group with 5 points, techganet have one point, and with a game in hand mauquibie have 0 points. Next game Clive.

Kosbareland 32 v 27 Hazelbrust

Clive: Another close game from one of the best teams in the world against a team they should have more comfortably beaten. Going behind at first before clawing back to victory in the closing minutes of the game.
Bruce: But now they’ve won, I don’t really see them being knocked out, they’re much stronger than the other teams in this group, and the big question is who will they play from group A, possibly a set up with Izaakia, it’ll be a tough game for both teams.
Clive: oooh, that will be a smashing game if that’s how it works out. So after one game Kosbareland leads the group with 4 points and Hazelbrust in second with 1 point, in last place with a game in hand is the frost empire.

Bruce: Thanks for tuning in guys, our next program is on Wednesday when will go through the second group games, and there are some excellent games coming up, so tune in. I’ve been Bruce DeKlerk.
Clive: and as always I’ve be Clive Sinclaire, good night.
Gianni: “Izaakia, I hate you so much. You’re such a good bad guy. Must be because of your genes“.

Hello Folks, and welcome to the summary of the remaining group games.

Game day 2
Group A - Sallodesia 19 - 41 Izaakia
Following a strong performance by the Izaakian team, they guarantee a place in the Quarter finals, pulling far enough ahead in the game to prevent a Sallodesian point. Meaning they lead the group with 7 points, however both Anseria and Sallodesia have a game in hand, with all to play for. It’ll be a tough game for Sallodesia they will need to prevent the strong looking Anserians from scoring more than 4 tries and winning by more than 10 points to progress on goal difference.

Group B - Stoinia 46 - 54 Montacia
With another close but well played victory Montacia have won their group with the maximum possible number of 10 points and will play the runners up in group C. Meanwhile with neither Sedunn or Stoinia winning a game yet, the final group game between the two teams will prove crucial, with whoever wins gaining that place in the semi finals.

Group C - Mauquibie 35 - 24 Brodlancia
The Brodlancians will be disappointed with their performance, and also their inability to claim a point for falling behind by less than 10 points. With 5 points they are in a very precarious position, and are currently second in the group behind Mauquibie. The game between Mauquibie and Techganet will decide the group, and the Brodlancians can just sit there and watch.

Group D - Frost Empire 19 - 29 Kosbareland
The Frost Empire threw up a spirited game against one of the best teams in the world, and they managed to keep them at bay for large parts of the game. However, the Kosbarians were just too strong in the end and beat them in a tough game of attrition. They have now won the group and will play the second placed team in Group A. The final game between Frost Empire and Hazelbrust has all to play for, and I don’t see a closer game coming up in the next game week.

Game Week 3
Group A -  Anseria 25 - 19 Sallodesia
The Sallodesians will be disappointed not to have progressed further in this tournament, but unfortunately they ended up in the toughest group. They put out some very strong performances, but I think they were just not fit enough or on form to match the power of the Izaakian and Anserian teams. Especially against Anseria, they were less than 5 feet from turning the game around at many points and were just unlucky. The Anserians now have 2 victories and have won group a, but they really won those two games by the skin of their teeth.

Group A Table
1. Anseria - 9 points
2. Izaakia - 7 points
3. Sallodesia - 1 point - Eliminated

Group B - Sedunn 24 - 17 Stoinia
In a scrappy game between Sedunn and Stoinia neither team looked settled, however a last moment flurry from Sedunn saved the day for them and in the end the Stoinians just looked as though they had lost all spirit. Sedunn will be hoping they improve their game in the quarter finals, otherwise I don’t see them progressing much further.

Group B Table
1. Montacia - 10 points
2. Sedunn - 4 points
3. Stoinia - 2 points - Eliminated

Group C - Techganet 39 - 19 Mauquibie
After losing their opening game to Brodlancia, the Techganet team left nobody doubting their intentions in this tournament. They trashed the Mauquibie team by a whole 20 points, in doing so they’ve also done Brodlancia a favour by shifting the goal difference in their favour. Techganet now lead the group on goal difference, and will be happy to have avoided the All Blacks in the quarter finals. In what’s been a close game Mauquibie will have felt it was stolen from them, with just 5 minutes to go they would have been through, if not for a last minute Try and Conversion from Technganet.

Group C Table
1. Techganet - 5 Points - GD+17
2. Brodlancia - 5 Points - GD-6
3. Mauquibie - 5 Points - GD-11 - Eliminated

Group D Hazelbrust 39 - 51 Frost Empire
Hazelbrust started strong in the first half and pulled out a pretty large lead, however after the half time break, the Frosties game back on unbelievable form and the Forest Panthers from Hazelbrust just collapsed under the pace and tempo. If the Frosties can perform at that level further on in this tournament I can’t see much that could stop them, it was a formidable performance, one of the true great games in tournament rugby. Overall this is what’s split the two teams, and Frost Empire will now progress in second in the group.

Group D Table
1. Kosbareland - 8 points
2. Frost Empire - 5 points
3. Hazelbrust - 1 point - Eliminated

Quarter Finals Fixtures
QF 1 - Anseria vs Frost Empire
A strong game coming up between two teams that have found good form, these two teams we hope will have a high pace and attacking game and will be the game to watch, will the frost empire cause the upset of the tournament?

QF 2 - Montacia vs Brodlancia
Montacia versus Brodlancia will have no love lost there, the mountain cup up for grabs. The two teams have a long and tense history on and off the pitch, and as so often with derbies it’ll be a brutal game. The Montacians look like favourites and are the stronger team however the Brodlancians will be highly determined to cause an upset.

QF 3 - Techganet vs Sedunn
Two teams that have at times in this tournament shown they can play some impressive rugby, but they’ve both shown some weaknesses, and I think they’re both going into this game confident they can do the business and propel themselves further.

QF 4 -  Kosbareland vs Izaakia

Kosbareland looking unstoppable at the moment, but if there was a team to do it, it would be the Izaakians, they’re not afraid to play a hard game on defence and attack, their defences have looked weak at times though. In the end it’ll be a battle of wills for these two teams, with the Izaakians playing at home they’ll be hoping for a boost on that front.

Anseria 43 - 24 Frost Empire
In the opening quarter final game Anseria comprehensively beat the first empire. At all times in control of the game the Anserians showed a mastery in control of the game, continuing their form, unbeaten in the tournament so far. The frost empire did well not to just collapse, putting in a good showing, however in the end they were simply outclassed.

Montacia 32 - 46 Brodlancia
In what turned out to be a very tense and violent game at the Citadelle Stadium, with 4 red cards, the Brodlancians ground out a victory against the Montacians, in what was more of a game of attrition and boxing than a game of rugby. After the game finished the fans stormed the pitch and a riotous fight broke out, which took police 5 hours to quell, with hundreds of arrests. There have been no fatalities but dozens of people have been hospitalised. The unrest has been widely condemned in the USI.

Techganet 51 - 40 Sedunn
After a slow start to the tournament the Techganet Royals wasted no time in pulling ahead against Sedunn, with a commanding lead by half time. In the second half the Sedunnese Tivusled showed a strong spirit for a comeback and almost managed to claw the game back, however the Techganet lead proved too commanding, had there been another 10 minutes the Sedunn rugby team would no doubt have won, but the clock was not on their side.

Kosbareland 45 - 47 Izaakia
The game between two of the best teams in the tournament did not disappoint, it was a nail biter of a game. Neither team managing to pull ahead for the full 80 minutes. In what was a clean and high pace game both teams managed to expose the others defensive weaknesses. With just seconds left in the game the teams were an even 45 points a piece, until a last second Hail Mary drop kick by the Izaakians won the game. The Kosbarians will be disappointed not to progress, but they played a strong game which on another day may have gone their way.

Semi Final Fixtures
 Anseria vs Brodlancia
Anserians will go into this match as the favourites, however the Brodlancians will have the home advantage at Deception Point stadium and will fancy their chances at another upset. Missing a few players due to injury and red cards however the Brodlancians will be fielding a weaker team than they did against the all blacks.

Techganet vs Izaakia
The Cape Cup will be up for grabs between these two teams. A regular friendlies fixture these two teams are familiar with each other, and always provide good sport. However there is extra tensions at the moment between these two nations, with civil unrest in Techganet and the Izaakian fleet stationed off the coast will the Techganet players be distracted, or will this just further raise the stakes in what is already a tense local rivalry.

Semifinals

Anserisa 40 - 10 Brodlancian

In what turned out to be a one-sided game at the Deception Point Stadium the Anserisians came out early and took control of the game, they were 40-6 up at half time after an extremely strong first half. In the second half they closed down the came highly effectively and secured a position for themselves in the World Cup final. The Brodlancians will be disappointed to come this close to a final and fail at the last step, but they were outclassed by the Anserisian today.

Techganet 17 - 22 Izaakia
In another close game for Izaakians they managed to edge out the Techganet Royals in what became an international diplomatic event with both countries leaders watching. The game was brutally physical but fair game play by both sides as you’d expect by these two great rugby nations who have the largest average player weights. The Izaakians will be concerned as they head for a home final at the New Mako Stadium that they have scraped through most of their games in this tournament.

Fixtures
Final Anserisa vs Izaakia

In a replay of the opening game of the tournament where Anserisa beat Izaakia by one run the final at New Mako Stadium will pit the worlds two best teams against each other. Still unbeaten in the tournament the Anserians will be favourites to win, with very strong form in the tournament comfortably winning all their games since the opener with Izaakia. The Izaakians have had a much tougher time getting to the final, only scraping through most of their fixtures, the question must be whether they have the fitness for another intense game in the final.

3rd Place Final Techganet vs Brodlancia
Both teams will be upset not to make it to the final, but with bronze medals up for grabs the two teams will face each other at Port Deception stadium in a bid not to go home empty handed.

Third place final
Techganet 33 - 47 Brodlancia
Both teams came in to the third place final looking worse for wear, but eager to get their hands on a third place medal for their efforts. These two teams met before in the opening game of their group when Brodlancia beat Techganet in the group game 31-28 in what was a very close game.
The two teams showed up tonight with very different approaches, the Techganet team fielding their strongest team despite the fatigue of tournament rugby setting in, learning from their opening games and some very close and hard fought matches in the tournament. The brodlancian coach has however changed tack, he’s fielded a very young team, fielding a lot of his youth players who haven’t had a game yet in this tournament, let’s hope the nerves don’t set in.
In the first half the Techganet team showed their experience and strength against the nervous Brodlancians taking a very strong lead of 31-12, and must have been confident they could hold out to then end.
However in one of rugby’s great comebacks the Brodlancian teams nerves settled and they started making less mistakes in the second half. Their superior fitness due to youth and not playing so much in the tournament meant that the young Brodlancian players looked like they were playing rugby without opposition as the fatigue on the Techganet players started to take its toll.
In the end the Brodlancians powered ahead to take the bronze medal at their home stadium in Port Deception. They were awarded medals by acting President Kim who was in attendance and celebrations went well into the night, with fireworks lighting up Brodlancia.

World Cup Final - Anserisa vs Izaakia

Highlights
As we come to the end of a historic World Cup let’s look back at some of the highlights. Looking back at the opening game of the tournament a Anserisa vs Izaakia our two finalists went head to head in what turned out to be the closest game of the tournament, these two giants fought hard in a high scoring game with a point to split them. Other highlights of the group stages include the Kosbarians victory over Hazelbrust where the Hazelbrust team out performed all expectations, keeping the kosbarians honest until the last moment and of course the first game of group D where Brodlancia faced up against Techganet for the first time in this tournament, scraping a victory in what turned out to be the tightest of groups, with all three teams scoring 5 points only to be separated on score difference.
We then had some scorchers of games in the Quarter Finals, with the Montacia vs Brodlancia derby which ended in riots after Brodlancia beat their more successful rivals, Techganet punching above their weight against Sedunn and of course the clash of Titans where Izaakia went up against Kosbareland beating them by just two points after a last second drop kick.
Anserisa sailed through the quarter finals and semi finals like a hot knife through butter, but the semifinal game for Izaakia was much more physical and demanding performance against local rivals Techganet, once again just scraping though.
This tough pathway to the final has been very demanding on the Izaakian players physically and mentally whereas the Anserians come into this final looking much stronger and fitter, but who can tell maybe the recent experiences of the Izaakian team, and motivation from that devastating defeat in the opening game can spur them on to victory.

Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony at the New Mako Stadium is all about nature, Izaakia of course home to many natural wonders, both marine and terrestrial. Although the focus on nature and the world coming together in the fight against climate change one can’t help but find the whole situation ironic given it is accompanied across the New Mako and Izaakston area by the largest and at $T32 Million the most expensive firework display in history, a record which will be broken a second time tonight with a $T45 Million display. The display shakes the ground like an earthquake, and lights up the city before surrounding it in smoke. Luckily it’s a windy night and the smoke soon clears and let’s hope the audience have nailed down their belongings before tonight’s second display. One thing for sure, the players in the dressing rooms sure will have felt that display and it must have sent nerves through their bodies.

Game
The two teams walk out onto the pitch either side of the Rugby World Cup Trophy, to drum beats and cheers, the atmosphere in the 105,000 capacity New Mako Stadium is on fire. The two teams line up for the anthems, the Anserisans are a small nation, but it sure feels like they’re all in this stadium tonight, they sang their heart out, the may be small but they sure will be heard. The Izaakians with the home advantage singing the very feisty Izaakian national anthem with gusto, very much an appropriate war chant for this battle of all battles the Rugby World Cup Final.

The opening minutes of the game and the Anserisans have come out of the blocks with a frightening pace, the Izaakians are nowhere to be seen as they score 2 tries in the opening 10 minutes, converting both for a total of 14 points to 0. The Izaakians start to show their experience in tight games like this and close up defensively, in what proved to be a very slow 20 minutes leading up to Izaakias first try, which they convert for 7 points. In the final 10 minutes of the first half the Izaakians win and score two penalty kicks, bring the game to Anserisa 14-13 Izaakia at half time.

Very close game in the first half, but I’m sure the Anserisans coach will be furious with the Anserisan players for stepping off the gas and letting Izaakia control the game after an excellent start.

The second half and the Anserisans are once again on the offensive, but this time Izaakia are having none of it, they’re very solid at the back, and of course it’s worth noting that the Anserisans are the smallest team in this tournament in terms of Height and weight and the Izaakians are the largest. At the moment the Anserisans are unable to use that pace advantage that’s served them so well so far in the tournament as the Izaakians are playing a physical game, not the fast paced game they played in the opening game of the tournament. Izaakia score a try and convert bringing their points to 20 and the anserisans get 3 penalties in the first 15 minutes of the second half which are all scored to bring their total up to 23 points, however there starting to look broken. Indeed in the last 25 minutes of the game, Izaakian physicality has paid off and they’ve started to increase the pace scoring three tries in close succession however they only convert two of them, leaving them with 39 points. With five minutes left in the final they start kicking the ball about going for Hail Mary shots and score another 2 points from drop goals, bringing the final score to Izaakia 45 - Anserisa 23.

The anserisans look devastated, it’s the first game they’ve lost in this tournament and they were so close to winning this World Cup. But the Izaakians who have struggled though this tournament but have made it all the way through grit and determination are to be crowned Champions of The World!

The players shake hands, you can see on the both the Izaakian and Anserisan faces how much this meant to them. The anserisans all line up to collect their silver medals from Acting President Godrik Kim and thank the fans who came out to support them, they receive a standing ovation from the entire stadium.

The Izaakian teams also collect their medals from Acting President Kim, before heading to the stage to be presented the World Cup trophy by a special guest. Acting President Kim jogs passed the trophy and down the ramp to where the changing rooms are, and when he returns he’s pushing a wheel chair with President Stella Blanc who was recently shot twice in an assassination attempt. They take the trophy from its plinth, make their way to the centre of the field where the Izaakian team are waiting as the crowd start to perform the Thunder Clap, the pace steadily building. Godrik Kim helps President Blanc from her wheel chair and she staggers forward to present the rugby World Cup in what must be one of the most iconic moments in sporting history. Then the stadium is drenched in confetti, the whole city lights up in fireworks and the fans go wild.

Gianni: “Izaakia, I hate you so much. You’re such a good bad guy. Must be because of your genes“.
