This... this is shameful!

Texeteti' looked at the flyer that flew into his face with clear disgust.  Of the five major Finixi tribes, the Kilaweioni populations always had the most non-FiHami citizens around the world, and he had believed that the Kilaweioni tribe held the most people of the Finixi tribes present in Besern.

Looking back up from the flyer to the float marching slowly through, all the Panua flowers flying around.  He observed people burning these flowers and scattering the ashes everywhere, which sent a sick feeling to his stomach.

The next float soon came into view: very clearly dedicated to the early Finixi unification legend, a woman standing in the middle with a crown with 5 brightly-colored flowers.  It was clear she was meant to depict Fi Onixia, the legendary figure.  On her arm was a massive representation of a fire falcon, with unusually-colored feathers, stuffed and unmoving as the light breeze ruffled the fake feathers.  Another person stepped forward, a child from what Texeteti' could tell, wearing the same crown as the first woman.  While the child's hair was somewhat thinner and shorter than the person she was supposed to represent, it was similar enough from a distance.

Finix is... alive?  I KNEW IT!  THE BESERNIANS KIDNAPPED HER!  THEY'RE GOING TO INVADE FIHAMI!

The procession continued onwards.

Texeteti' kept his face low as he approached the mall area with the floats.  The ferry was supposedly connected to this mall.  The area seemed secluded enough...

"Huafirei!  Ki Fi'Shi kara Ha'anani eh!"1  Texeteti' shouted at the crowd, throwing a rock at the float that had passed by.  The crowds suddenly panicked, trampling each other as everyone tried to vacate the area.  "Ai ki Mall!"2

A bunch of people redirected their paths to RBcity, and even more followed suit.  Texeteti' could hear some people begin chanting, "KILAWEIONI SUPERIORITY!" as he left with a smile on his face, breaking into the mall and flooding the area with a panicked crowd.

"Oh, sorry. Excuse me? Where is the ferry terminal?" A lady asked a female stranger.

As the noise level increases and gets closer, the stranger attempts to say that "it is at Level 3, Lobby H", however the lady kept asking to say it louder.

Suddenly, a force struck the lady. Her bag full of gifts to her relatives dropped. There was a loud crack sound. The stampede from the street has entered.

The stampede caused the lady to be pierced by a broken shard of ceramic from her bag. She started to bleed. The stampede continued.

Eventually, she bled to death. Her ticket, however clean, sticks to the floor.

It was a ferry ticket to Ha'Hani. The ferry, known as FIBI 7, operated by fibi1, would leave in approximately an hour.

The stranger didn't notice, she ran before the stampede came at the last second.

1fibi is a ferry operator that operates the Rungenbouen-Ha'Hani route. It usually conducts services from the northern coast of Besern to the Rainbow Islands. It's name derives from it's first ever route, from FiHami to Besern.

In the chaos that came like a tsunami over RBcity, Texeteti' was calm like the eye. He knew what he had to do, he knew he had to escape this place before his presence was found there.

In the corner of his eye was a lady on the floor, dead. A little ways away was a ticket, clean as can be, for the ferry. Texeteti' picked the ticket up, examining it closely. His face lit up as he saw the destination written on the ticket.

One ticket to Huah-Huah port leaving in under an hour...

As soon as he moved, he felt a body give resistence. Texeteti' pushed the body out of his way, looking around to see a man stumble backwards into a bookshelf. The entire shelf, its books, and the heavy monument on top came crashing down on the man, as Texeteti' looked on in shock.

"... Help... me..." The man groaned.

"What is your name?" Texeteti' asked, moving closer to the struggling man.

"Sam... Sam Belssom... sir..."

"Do you have Finixi blood?" Texeteti' asked, lifting the shelf off the injured man.

"My mother's... grandmother... was part of the Fi'Shi tribe-" Was all the man got to say, before dropping the shelf back on the man, killing him. Texeteti' turned around to see if there were any witnesses to his crime, to his relief, there were none. He quickly sprinted away, running as fast as he could to catch the ferry before it was set to leave.

Groups of policemen from the Northeast Division of the Besernian Federal Police has arrived at the scene. By then, FIBI 7 has left the terminal.

Sticking to a rushed and soon infamous operation named "OPERATION VELVET", headed by division chief Apsen Vesvone, 50 police officers cordon off the entrances of RBcity, even the emergency exits. Even the carpark's roller shutters were forcefully brought down. They thought that waiting would allow the riot to sit in, then once they are distracted, raid the mall.

"Good work, ladies and gentlemen. Let's wait them out", he said.

However, there was one fatal flaw. The cordon actually allowed the innocent to easily get murdered or injured by the ongoing instability. The worst might happen, maybe even devastate the area.

Screams for help were faint, yet audible. They faded at every minute, one by one.

The remaining ferries at the port were raided. Some passengers were even thrown to the sea. FIBI 9, operating the Rungenbouen-Brantavilla route was the last ferry to leave before the raid on the terminal started.

The chief got pleads from the officers who actually had a brain that the "operation is flawed" and that they "need to ambush them, now or never". The chief instead slapped them, saying that he was "the authority, so you listen to me, you idiot."

The evening news then rolled. BBS crews then recorded the entire situation. Getting permission to enter the mall was never going to happen, so a team led by a journalist named Amelia Karlson forcefully broke their way through an emergency exit, recording the entire thing. The team held it live on the evening news, eventually getting themselves killed in action. Their last words were "Holy [beeped], we're being ambushed.. ..and we're dead. Send this to the newsroom-", uttered by Amelia herself.
The woman in the newsroom, Velvet Kinderson was left confused.

The next day, the news mentions that the north-east division of the federal police was "the worst trained in the entirety of Besern", criticizing "Operation Velvet". They also mention that Apsen was caned by the head chief of the Besernian Federal Police, Erik Karlsberg with 6 strokes in Brient.

Eventually, the crowd was removed by the Brient City Police, who had to step in due to the local police's incompetency.

"This is an embarrassment to this nation ever since the fifth constitution. Are you secretly supporting a storm, Chief Mr. Apsen?", Erik shouted with a strict voice filled with anger and pockets of dishonour.

Home, once again...

Texeteti' was furiously typing in his sofa from the comfort of his own home. He would recount the injustices he witnessed, a certain fervor in each fingerstroke, laying on the floor. The TV was bustling with the latest news, the latest polls showing that Kilaui Kuri was in a comfortable lead for the elections. A news reporter droned on about some FiHami Man who bought thousands of dollars in peanut butter just to slather it over the road in his neighborhood.

And with a smile, Texeteti' hit "send".

"The oppression of the Kilaweioni tribe has gone on too long. The other 4 major tribes have laughed at us for too long, but Ha'Finix is on our side now. My siblings all over the world, rise up against your oppressors, rise up against the mind-controlling, evil, brainwashing people and let us free the world. Remember, they oppress us because they fear us."

Adalard Maatische picked up the phone. It was in the morning. The sun was rising.

Smiling as he looked outside of his window, he dialed a friend of Texeteti' whom he knew.

He then calmly said these words in the comfort of his home reinforced with sound barrier walls.

"Hello, Kaila Kilaweioni. Alpha Juliet Charlie 091. I have a mission for you. I have sent you something in the post. Read it and report to Zulu 192."

He then hanged up the phone.

1An identification of the higher ranks of the rebellion, in this case, the leader. The rebellion has a forum that is unknown to the authorities, hence, the rebellion can easily identify members.

2Zulu 19 is the codeword for the rebellion for the recently opened Temporary Rungenbouen Ferry Terminal.

In Kaila's postbox was an envelope detailing the plans on how to get rid of the Besernian government in the city of Rungenbouen by stealing a military shipment that was due to arrive. Also in the envelope was a ticket to the temporary ferry terminal from Ha'Hani.

"Ugh, why are we even here?" complains one of the 'soldiers', grumbling more and more as he scratches his head- oh he can't. He's wearing Rotikan helmet. The tired man stands among the top hill next to the southern border of Southeast Besern.

"Be glad we won't get to see his face in a while," retorts another one, "I'm sure as hell not convinced on how we will be getting a 'reward' after this is done."

"Yeah, but then we have to go back, sooner or later, actually way sooner than you think," He points out, "If we go back empty-handed, we're sure as hell dead."

"You talk as if we're not already dead," the other one shakes his head, "with the big sniffing our asses, I don't have much hope for myself, really. Might as well enjoy the view while we can."

He then turns to view at the wood. He gazes upon various guard patrols on the border, who is likely on high alert after the uprising back in Absolustan. The lack of presence from Rotikan military certainly doesn't help keeping them chilled during these times.

"These soldiers. You think they will shoot us?" The soldier asks his mate.

"No idea, but you said it yourself, we're already dead. Might as well try, eh?"

"We could," he then turns to his back, "but only if we get the loyalists off our back first."

Behind them stands a taller-than-usual personnel, armed with AK-47. He gazes around each and every soldiers in the group, radiating an unnerving aura to them.

"Well?" He looks at the other soldier, "What do you say we do, mister genius?"

"One of us has to start a diversion, while the others run..."

"Well, you go out there and make a run for it," he suggests, "I'll keep him busy. I'm already dead, afterall."

"Right..." He looks around one last time, "wish me luck."

"Ah, this brilliant view. I have not seen this ever since I was discharged from full-time military service." A private, named Drewes Engel gazes at the view of the terrain of Absolustan.

The empty view of it brings the fresh breath of it to him. Behind him was a bright metropolis, filled with life. The Niewrotika-Verselsdorf metropolitan area was as breathtaking as the wilderness of the behind.

"Hey, kiddo. Don't forget that we are on Faciam? Have you saw any troops?" A friend of the private named Franz Gerard, who is also a private asks.

Franz was also a former conscript who was also discharged from full-time military service before being reconscripted as part of DEFCON measures. He was conscripted at the same time as Drewes. He and him were also friends in school.

"Eh, thank god we aren't placed in Rungenbouen. The chaos there has certainly been painful for the troops there." Drewes replied in a dragging voice.

"Have you heard about the chaos in Rotika? The Absolustanis might be here to attack us any minute." Franz replied.

Drewes then exploded into uncontrollable laughter.

"Are you serious? Absolustanis coming here to attack? As if! Even if they do, they would waste their nukes anyway! Besides, they are weak!" Drewes said in an unclear voice as laughter fills the air of the guard post.

"Oh, come on. Don't be ignorant. You know what happened to the police in the north-east, do you?" Franz replied with a sigh.

Suddenly, Franz spots something.

"I think I spot something. Come closer, will you?" Franz asks Drewes.

He gives the binoculars to Drewes. Drewes then placed the binoculars onto his face.

There was something.

"Hmm. Seems odd." Drewes replied in a curious voice.

"I think we might be in a pickle." Franz then replied with another sigh.

A figure appears from the woods, running frantically towards the incoming guards. He appears to be unarmed, well, at least not in his hands.

While he was dashing towards the border, he took a quick glance from behind. That is when he sees a dozen of armed individuals, with guns, aiming towards him. Some even appear to be chasing the fleeing man. Soon enough, a gunfire was heard, and bullets start swarming him.

Franz, upon spotting the figure, realizing what's coming before him, leaves Drewes alone at the guard post.

He then goes out of the guard post. It was a soldier who looked like he was fleeing being chased by a swarm of other soldiers.

He then shouts.

"Hey! Over here, refuge is this way!"

He pointed towards the nearby Niewrotika-Verselsdorf Checkpoint.

It was small, but still clearly visible.

He then mutters something to himself.

"If these pack of wolves cross the fence, we are certainly dead."

He looks through the fence that is right in front of him. Between Absolustan and Besern was a single fence with barbed wire on it. This would justify his fears.
