Well if the criteria is intentionally not met, then removal of BC powers would occur along with the possibility of losing position as LC.

Regardless, the intent should be to prevent abuse of Border Control powers in the first place.

Well wouldn't the threat of losing your position as LC help in preventing it from happening?
Not only would it not be an absolute safeguard, it would also not prevent the grey area type situations where the ejection was incorrect but not just a rogue LC banjecting arbitrary individuals.

Additionally, the CRS does not have the legal authority to remove Local Councillors.
Obviously you wouldn't be punished (well maybe a warning) for an incorrect ban unless it was a repetitive issue. Also the CRS can ban a rouge LC due to the security risk but if it was just a case of too many mistakes then can't a report be filed to the prime minister?

As long as my vote needs to be cast to expand BC authority to any LC, I’m going to need to see a revamped and far more reasonable RMB moderation policy and then stop seeing overzealous moderation.
I think you would find it was an issue that had been occurring since the start of the election, I supplied you with all of it. It wasn't because I was insulted because trust me, negative opinions mean nothing to me, it was because he refused to learn how to listen. Further more, the other LC's agreed that it had gone on for too long.

That other LC members agreed was part of the problem, not an argument in favor.

The LC asked us to authorize the banning of a player when they hadn’t broken any actual rules. One of the complaints asserted the target was “violating the right to anonymity” of another player because they revealed that player had sent them a TG about you. There wasn’t a single objectionable or actionable post presented, but it was very clear that you didn’t care for the player and found them annoying. Another one of the posts presented as reason to ban was that they called you bossy.

The LC has shown time and again that it’s not capable of moderating the RMB in a reasonable way. There are the rare examples of people I’m willing to trust with the power to eject and ban from the region. Then there’s the other 98% of those who’ve held the office.

Yet again, I didn't care about what he said about me. It was due to the fact that it was an ongoing issue. There was more incidents that you are leaving out. And trust me, he was doing it with the intent to bait
